Erika Lindemann is a Professor of English at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She teaches writing and has directed the writing programs at the Universities of North Carolina and South Carolina until 1998. Among the books she edited are Longman Bibliography of Composition and Rhetoric (1988), CCCC Bibliography of Composition and Rhetoric. 1990 (1991) and An Introduction to Composition Studies (1991) with Gary Tate. Her publications include scholarly articles in CE, JAC, WPA, FE and others and A Rhetoric for Writing Teachers, third edition (1995), now in its fourth edition (1,2&3).

Lindemann’s box includes WPA consultant’s schedule in 1987, evaluation forms and standards of WP, self-study and faculty development questions, report of WPA, list of WPA evaluators, 1980 WPA report, case studies, correspondence and evaluation of anonymous writing programs, among others. It contains TA training materials from 1979-1987, which include correspondence, TAs list, articles, sample orientation packet and expenses’ reports, workshop schedule and materials, students’ papers and sample TA responses to them, course requirements, policy guidelines and syllabi. In addition, the box encloses Lindemann’s notes, handouts and TA orientation booklets, survival kit, lesson plans, classroom exercises, sample assignment sheets and other documents.
